Week 30 No more dogs and a lesson with Baby Angel

Heyyyyy everybody! Hope you all had a great week! Sounds like everyone's bracket is busted so I guess better luck next year...  I saw that the Provo temple was dedicated and it looks awesome!!

Here we gooooooo.

Tuesday
Really good day! We had some cool experiences for sure! Hah we had a lesson with Gerardo which was great! He loves everything we have taught and now he just needs to read for himself! I really hope he does. Tishie (Less Active) told me when she strikes it rich she'll take me on a cruise.... Guess we'll see. We topped it off with a pretty interesting lesson with a guy that goes by Baby Angel. He was neither a Baby nor an Angel so kind of an interesting name. He flagged us down on Sunday and asked for a Book of Mormon and that NEVER happens. We figured we gotta go back and see what this guy is all about. Turns out he's a little all over the place. He told us he has met with Presidents Carter, Reagan, Gorbachev, Michael Jackson, and Johnny Cash. It was a PA ramble at its finest. Hah just keeping up with this guy and the contradicting information was rough. We finally put our foot down and said look do you want to learn more or not? Turns out it's looking like a not. Some people just like having some ears to talk to...

Wednesday
Westfield Wednesday for the win. Solid service at the Library. They finally decided to invite us for a volunteer brunch in a month so we'll see if I'm here for that... There's a lot of good people at that library and it's super old and cool. After that we showed the video to as many people as we could in Westfield before coordination meeting in Bemus Point. Bemus is right on the lake and made for a nice picture. *Hopefully Momma throws that in.* Other than that we have a good Ward mission leader and our district does WORK. Love those Elders.

Thursday
Good district meeting in the morning! We got rebuked and I love it. I like when we get good things to improve on! We also had a cool meeting with this guy named Ivan. Since we have this awesome video to show, door approaches are a lot easier. When we are driving around to appointments we always look for good signs of people that would be receptive to a message. We're always on the lookout for Puerto Rican flags, Angel statues, or any other Christian decorations. Today as we were driving around we saw an angel lawn decoration so we absolutely knocked that door. The guy was really scared at first because apparently the last church that knocked his door said he was going to infierno. We assured him we didn't think he was going there and he let us in to share the message! He really enjoyed it and we'll see what happens!
Friday
We did service all day! In the morning we went to the Sharon's and helped them move more things around as they prepare for the baby!! We also went to the Friendly Kitchen and did our thing there. Always a good place to be! The rest of the day was filled with getting ready for the Ward party in Jamestown! It was an Elders quorum and Relief Society thing and we were definitely enlisted to help! Hah we helped prep all this food and set stuff up and that took up a lot of the day! The party ended up being pretty good! Not a super good turn out but it's always fun to be with the Ward here!

Saturday
Last day of service at the dog place. I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty dang happy!! Hah the lady asked if we would be coming back next week and I took that as an answer to prayer and an opportunity to get out. It just wasn't a very good place for us to begin with. We were the only ones there and we weren't getting any opportunities to talk to people! We can use our time better.  That was a highlight for me. Also we had a great lesson with an investigator named Melissa. I think I have mentioned her before. She's the one who asked us why we are so happy all the time! It was a great lesson and she has excellent questions!!! Stuff that makes you think! We invited her to be baptized and she said yes! She promised us she would come to church next week so we will see what happens!! Great day!

Sunday
Great day! One of the less actives we have been working with came to church!! That's one of the best feelings. I love when people say they will do something and they doooo it. It's perfect. We also had a really good dinner and lesson with the Olrogg's. They were super honest with us about where they are with the church which is awesome. That's what we have needed!! She finally told us what her issue is which is fantastic. Now we can try and help her fix it!

We're now in the last week of the transfer! It's crazy how fast time goes by! We'll know what's going to happen on Saturday so stay tuned.

#Hallelujah

Stay classy,
